Itinerary
In these 21 days, you will experience some adventures like a boat trip on the Tsiribihina river and a hike through the Tsingy the Bemaraha. You will support a local project during your stay in Zazamalala and make a stop at the well-known ‘Avenue de Baobabs’
Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
Day 2: Antsirabe
A four-hour drive brings you to the heart of the highlands. The ‘Potato city’ and the ‘coldest ‘place in the country.
Day 3: Antsirabe
With a guide, you will visit the local market to buy products you will use during your cooking class. You will prepare a traditional Malagasy meal.
Day 4: Zazamalala
Stay at a private park of a Dutchman trying to protect the flora and fauna of the region.
Day 5: Make a tour of this park and continue to the Tsiribihina River
Day 6: Stay overnight in a tent with the sound of the river in the background
Day 7: Continue this floating adventure
Day 8: End at Bekopaka, not far from the Tsingy de Bemaraha
Day 9: Take a day to enjoy this incredible park.
Day 10: Drive back to Morondava
Day 11: A day's rest, it is optional to stay overnight in a baobab tree!
Day 12: A bumpy ride down to Manja
Day 13: Drive to Andavadoaka, a beach paradise
Day 14: Drive to Ambatomilo and enjoy the incredible view!
Day 15: Ambatomilo is where you want to relax
Day 16: Take the boat back to Tulear
Day 18: Tulear is an underrated city, wake up very early to avoid the heat and make a bike tour through the different parts of the town.
Day 19: Flight back to Antananarivo
Day 20: Visit Antananarivo, do not be afraid, you won’t be bored here!
Day 21: International flight
